Anderson Center for the Arts believes community engagement drives unity through collective experiences both inside the center and out.

The ACA team participates in multiple organizations working to create a connected and supportive network between arts, artists, and community.

ACA artist in residence, WROSIV partnered with MFAH to create an interactive painting experience at ACA open to the community for the Black Art Houston.

Participants came from near and far embraced this opportunity to express themselves without boundaries!

Through the artist In Residence program at ACA multiple artists have had the opportunity to display and perform their bodies of work to community members, local leaders, and students.

Hosting multiple cultural events open to unincorporated East Harris County, ACA has provided complimentary access to cultural experiences raising cultural awareness, appreciation, and diverse beliefs throughout the community.
