Harris County Cultural Arts Center

is proud to have hosted the FIRST gallery spaces for black artists at Avenida Americas Black History month Festival in February 2022.

Each weekend Black artists were invited to sell their work to festival visitors. Over the course of four weekends, seventeen artists participated. HCCAC’s amazing volunteers came every weekend to set up and take down tents, tables, and gallery walls. Everyone enjoyed live music and cultural performances.
