“The Fairytale Project” is a historically inspired tale for children of a modern-day African American family reconnecting with their East Texas roots.
“The Fairytale Project”
is written and directed by Harris County Cultural Arts Center’s very own Director of Artistic Programming, Stacey Allen. The play has been received by audiences all over East Texas after its grand opening production on the Anheuser Busch Stage at Discovery Green Park. In attendance at the grand opening were the descendants of the founders of the east Texas town Shankleville.
